JWF’s Media and Journalisms Webinars (MJW) is a certificate program consists of 5 virtual sessions, including training sessions and interactive discussions with prominent journalists and media professionals. Starting on May 27 and ending on June 5, 2025, participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts in the field and connect with like-minded individuals.
This MJW program focuses on experiential learning, offering workshops, mentorship, and hands-on projects to help journalism students and young professionals succeed in their careers. Since 2020, with over 30 professional journalists and 124 participants from 33 countries already involved, this global platform aims to empower individuals to make a positive impact through their writing.
Join us in exploring the latest trends and opportunities in journalism, while gaining valuable skills and knowledge to influence public opinion on important issues. Session 4 – Panel: Digital Revolution: Latest Technology Advancements and Artificial Intelligence
- Leveraging artificial intelligence in the age of the evolving landscape of human rights reporting
- Audience development strategies in countries where press freedom is at risk
- Overcoming state barriers and censorship
- Impactful marketing at online media outlets

Session 5: Introducing Media and Press Freedom Organizations
- Representatives of media and press freedom organizations will present resources and opportunities available at their institutions to support the work of journalists and empower media professionals reporting from conflicts. when covering conflict and mediation processes
APPLICATION
Participation fee of this certificate program is $25 for professionals and $15 for students.
Scholarships are available for students based on needs.

*** Please note that completing 4 out of 5 sessions is mandatory to receive the MJW Certificate of Completion.
